Delivery Driver Non CDL

Job Description

Fast Growing Coffee distributor (Near IAH Airport, Houston, TX) is looking for the Delivery Driver for the regular Shift.

RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE :

· Responsible for delivering products within established accounts.

· Count and check all products against the truck load sheet. Load all products in the truck. Ensure all products are free of damage.

· Deliver product to the customer based on the ticket.

· Place products at appropriate place directed by the customer.

· Invoice and collect monies and drop it in safe box in the truck.

· Maintain delivery truck cleanliness appearance.

· Ensure compliance with regulatory and company policies and procedures.

· Settle all accounts daily - Return Money, Goods etc.

· 4 Days a week (Mon thru Fri with some Saturdays)

· 7:00 am to finish

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS :

· High School diploma or GED preferred.

· 1-3 years of general work experience required.

· Ability to count and secure cash required.

· 1+ years of commercial driving experience preferred.

· Prior grocery store and/or consumer products experience a plus.

· Customer service and cash handling experience preferred.

· Ability to operate a two or four wheeled hand-truck.

· Mechanical/electronic troubleshooting skills.

· Ability to work with minimal supervision.

· Driving record within MVR policy guidelines.

· Stable and steady work history in a distribution Industry or warehouse.

· Punctual with good attendance.

· Takes an active interest in meeting the needs of the business as communicated by supervisors and managers.

· Must be fluent in written and spoken English.

· Must pass pre-employment testing (Drug Screen, Background Check, Physical Abilities Test). Due to the nature of employer's business, company policy requires that candidates having criminal background or convictions will not be considered for the employment.
