Job Description

Non-profit Senior Accountant

START RIGHT AWAY!

Hybrid: 3 day onsite & 2 days remote

Salary: 80k-95k

Job Duties:

Oversee all accounting operations, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger, and payroll

Ensure accurate and timely recording of financial transactions in accordance with GAAP and non-profit accounting standards.

Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.

Manage grant accounting processes, ensuring compliance with grant requirements and reporting deadlines.

Coordinate annual audits or financial reviews, including preparation of audit schedules and supporting documentation.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field required

Minimum of 5 years of progressive accounting experience, with at least 2 years in a non-profit setting.

Thorough understanding of GAAP and non-profit accounting principles.
