Sr Buyer

Job Description

Summary: Seeking experienced Buyer with expertise in SAP and Excel for medical device raw material purchasing, requiring a BS in supply chain or procurement and 5+ years of experience.

Job Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in supply chain management, procurement, or related field.

5+ years of experience in purchasing, preferably in the medical device industry.

Proficiency in SAP and Excel.

Knowledge of purchasing, planning, and scheduling the movement of raw materials, packaging materials, parts, components, services, supplies, and finished goods.

Ability to identify requirements from engineering and production specifications and schedules.

Experience in frontend procurement, including data analysis and cost determination.

Preferred Skills:

Familiarity with production, warehouse, and engineering processes to ensure effective procurement and scheduling.

Competence in compiling information to monitor price trends and manufacturing processes.

Capability to monitor supplier performance and collaborate on demand analysis planning.

Job Responsibilities:

Source, purchase, plan, and schedule the movement of raw materials and other components.

Determine raw material and component requirements based on engineering and production needs.

Analyze data to affect prices and ensure the lowest cost consistent with quality, reliability, and schedule requirements.

Coordinate with production, warehouse, and engineering personnel for appropriate procurement and material movement.

Compile and analyze information on price trends and manufacturing processes.

Monitor supplier performance and participate in demand analysis planning.

Pay Details: $40.00 to $60.00 per hour
