STORAGE ENGINEER (CI POLYGRAPH )

NorthHill Technology Resources has a need for a Storage Engineer to support a Federal Program in Chantilly,

VA. This is a direct-hire role with our client, a fast-growing Federal Integrator. Due to the nature of the work, a TS/SCI Clerance with current CI Polygraph is required.

Storage Engineer

Support of enterprise storage platforms (NetApp, 3Par, Primera, EMC, Veritas, Cohesity etc.)

Configuration of NAS and SAN storage protocols to include NFS, CIFS and Fiber Channel

Administration of storage arrays to include initial software configurations, SAN zoning and IP based storage configurations

Configuration and administration of data replication technologies such as NetApp SnapMirror

Management of storage array cluster switches

Performing routine storage array firmware & OS code updates.

Configuring storage platforms to include configuring clustering, HA, building aggregates, LUNs, volumes, shares and managing storage quotas.

Design and engineering of cloud-based storage platforms such as NetApp Cloud Volumes OnTap, AWS S3 and Azure Storage Accounts

Implementation of encryption technologies and integration with storage platforms.

Monitoring storage system and configurations in order to ensure system health and functionality as well as remediate issues in a timely manner
