Overview:

Collaborates with the Strategic Initiatives Manager to create a robust data solution supporting the School Health Services professional development and consultation team. Responsible for developing data visualization solutions, the consultant transforms analytics into actionable insights, utilizing quality improvement strategies to evaluate school health models and facilitate improvement approaches. Beyond this, they establish pivotal partnerships, internally and externally, accelerating progress by closely collaborating with schools and local stakeholders to seamlessly integrate student services and craft customized community solutions.

Responsibilities:

• Oversees the development and use of data collection tools, data analysis, and data management to support the evaluation and expansion of school-health consultative and community work. Leads the coordination of a cross-systems data collection and analytic strategy and develops and disseminates project reports to key stakeholders.

• Leads planning and development of customized data dashboards and modules to support school health consultation and professional development.

• Conceptualize, design, and produce creative, informative, and intuitive infographics to communicate meaningful patterns from large amounts of data.

• Develop and deliver visually dynamic products for use both internally and on behalf of external partners.

• Leads quality improvement efforts with school and community partners to develop unique reporting structures for local communities in conjunction with Professional Development and Consultation team.

• Collaborates with education and healthcare partners to ensure supports are integrated and aligned with priorities and resources.

• Promotes teamwork by building a team environment and fostering cross-functional collaboration. Communicates effectively with internal multi-disciplinary teams and external community leaders to resolve problems and provide quality service.

• Maintains up-to-date working knowledge of community, state and national trends in related fields (e.g., school health, telehealth regulations, Medicaid billing changes)

• Leverage data analytics to drive improvement in patient/student outcomes as well as support financial sustainability for various school health delivery models.

Qualifications:

Education: Bachelor’s Degree is required, Masters preferred or commensurate with experience in data visualization, data analytics or graphic design.

Licensure: Valid Ohio driver’s license and proof of auto insurance as required by hospital policy. Must pass motor vehicle background inspection, insurance eligibility, driving qualifications, and training set forth by Nationwide Children’s Hospital and maintain qualification of insurance guidelines.

Skills:

• Analytical skills required to develop dashboards and reports.

• Strong proficiency in data manipulation, analysis, and automation.

• High level of initiative, self-direction, and accountability for actions required.

• Strong data visualization skills.

• Knowledge of continuous improvement strategies for healthcare and school partners.

• Demonstrated ability to work within teams and collaborate with colleagues to achieve common goals and initiatives.

• Exceptional customer service, communication, negotiation, and interpersonal relationship skills required for interaction with key stakeholders.

• Skilled in promoting multidisciplinary collaboration; ability to act as a facilitator and change agent required.

• Strong leadership and decision-making skills required.

• Project management skills to effectively manage multiple projects simultaneously.

• Ability to adapt to changing circumstances, multitask and be open to learning new skills and techniques.

Experience:

• Three years of experience in data analysis, program management and/or graphic design.

• Experience in community development and community engagement preferred.
