As we continue to grow, we are seeking to hire a dynamic and motivated Cash Application Specialist who will be responsible for processing the daily cash receipts to include lock box, ACH, and credit and debit card payments. The position requires advanced knowledge of banking, merchant services and related technologies. Responsibilities:

Accurately apply lockbox deposits, live checks, credit cards, wire transfers, ACH payments and payments to all invoices listed on customers’ remittances and properly chargeback deductions in a timely manner; this includes pulling and attaching backup for deductions.

Process credit memos and apply heavy cash application accurately and within established timelines.

Take charge of loading deposits and manipulating data for account management.

Manually post or upload payments – must possess technical skills – Intermediate to Advanced Excel

Responsible for performing all required cash reconciliations daily and at month end.

Work collaboratively with other internal team members to identify, address, and resolve items from potentially disparate pieces of the company’s financial interests.

Assists with special projects and compiles reports.

Qualifications:

Prior cash application experience is a must.

Strong knowledge base on Excel, MS word and Windows based products skills are necessary for this role.

Must be able to effectively organize and prioritize activities and perform under strict deadlines.

Strong analytical skills with the ability to research and make corrections as necessary.

Strong accuracy and attention to detail.

Ability to think quickly in a fast-paced environment.

Ability to work independently and as a team member.
