Description:

The Solar Repair Technician position is responsible for assisting the Solar Repair Technician Lead

with repairing and maintaining roof and ground-mounted solar systems. This person will follow all

company and safety policies and procedures.

Essential Job Functions

Assist in loading and unloading company vehicles

Work in a fast-paced, demanding work environment

Install, repair, and maintain roof-mount and ground-mount solar PV systems including flashing, racking, module-level power electronics (Micro-inverters/Optimizers), array wiring, and junction boxes

Work on roofs, ladders, crawlspaces, attics, and other residential and commercial areas

Maintain a clean job site and work truck

Interact with clients in a respectful manner

Perform other related duties as required

Follow all company and safety policies and procedures

Obtain Fall protection certification from Click Safety (1.5 HR course provided by employer)

Obtain Electrical Safety certification from Click Safety (0.4 HR course provided by employer)

Overnight travel may be requiredRequirements:

Be comfortable climbing a ladder and working on a roof

Be comfortable with working outside in all weather conditions

Good communication and interpersonal skills

High attention to detail

Strong mechanical aptitude

Team orientated

Good attitude with a willingness to learn

Ability to maintain a professional attitude

Ability to maintain company tools

Minimum Qualifications

Basic understanding of hand and power tools

Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repetitively

Ability to climb ladders and work on roofs up to a 45-degree pitch

Driver's license and good driving record
