GL BOOKKEEPER - HYBRID

BOOKEEPER needed for a company in the West Sacramento area. Must have knowledge of General Ledger/ Debit and Credits, experience preparing and processing journal entries and reconciling GL accounts.

This is an urgent request from a large and growing company, as candidates are being considered immediately. This is a full time/40-hr position with a temp to hire opportunity for the right person who can bring diligence, accounting practices knowledge to the role.

Job Duties include:

Working in the general ledger with understanding of debits and credits

Preparing and processing journal entries

Reconciliation of General Ledger accounts

May be assisting with month end close

Research and investigative activities for an accounting department.

Records and document management; gathering data, compiling information, and preparing reports.

Heavy data entry into proprietary database.

Complex planning, scheduling and meeting support

Review and analysis of various financial data.

REQUIRED

Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)

Ability to learn SharePoint and internal web-based reporting software, Adobe Acrobat, etc.

Understanding of GAAP and compliance

Advanced organizational and coordinating skills.

Strong written and verbal communications.

Ability to work with concentration, accuracy, and attention to detail.

Ability to maintain confidentiality.

Pay Range $25 to $27 per hour

Must be able to clear a thorough drug screening and criminal background check, provide a minimum of two supervisory references and proper documentation to verify eligibility to work in the USA.
