2nd Shift Machinist

Are you an experienced CNC Machinist?

OpSource has partnered with a fire protection company located in Liberty, SC.

Pay for the position:

$25.00 - $30.00 DOE + $1.50 shift premium

Shifts for the position:

2nd Shift 3:00PM – 11:30PM

Job requirements for the position may include:

Plans machining by analyzing work orders, blueprints, sketches, models, and/or descriptions to determine dimensions and setup requirements.

Measures, marks, and scribes dimensions and reference points on material as guides for subsequent machining as necessary.

Responsible for heat treating parts.

Selects, aligns, and secures holding fixtures, cutting tools, attachments, accessories, and materials on machines as necessary to machine parts as required.

Observes machine operation to detect malfunctions and adjust machine controls as required.

Qualifications for the position:

Knowledge of design techniques, tools and principles

Proficient in Microsoft Office, Parts Management System, CMMS System, CREO, and CAD Software

Well-versed in hydraulics, pneumatics, brazing and soldering

Associate’s Degrees in CNC Machining and/or Related Field REQUIRED.

4+ years in Machining and/or CNC Programming - experience in manual mills and programming are a huge plus.
