2020 Companies is seeking a part-time Installation Technician Specialist to manage retail installs for a dedicated global merchandising team!
About the Job
The Installation Technician is responsible for executing multiple job functions within the client dedicated program including:
Personally lead overnight or early morning installations at retailers within a market or region
Accurately track, execute and report on all projects for client
Build relationships with internal employees, client contacts and retailers
Travel to locations within market and region for projects and training field team
Must Have:
Valid driver's license is required as travel to additional locations may be necessary
Reliable transportation and automobile liability insurance is required to be maintained
Ability to carry any essential work materials

Job Description:
Execute and coordinate activities within the Intel division
Personally accountable for executing within the region and division of shared services
Responsible to accurately tracking and executing all work for Intel
Responsible for overnight and early morning installation
Responsible for virtual software application team management
Responsible and lead for 2+ person team installations
Successfully develop and building relationships with shared services division as many of the 2 person teams will use Shared services staff
Contribute to team effort by assisting other team members within Intel division
Travel to locations within market and region for multiple programs and projects within Intel division as needed
Execute all local, market and regional projects as needed and requested by Intel program
Train other local, market and regional team members as needed and requested by shared services for the Intel work to be executed
Lead by example and work with all Intel and shared services team members and through cross functional processes over all aspects of the company
Perform all other duties as assigned
Performance Measurements:
Meets established weekly/monthly projects goals/quotas
Customer/client satisfaction based on the Intel KPI's provided
Qualifications:
Must have a smart wireless device with an enabled back facing camera, this will be used for job acceptance, scheduling, reporting and video validation – we will reimburse $50 per moth FT and $30 per month PT for dedicated team staff
Must have ability and willingness to travel up to 50% of the time and be able to travel by plane or other means to get to other states
Must have the ability to train and work with other Installers remotely
Must have reliable transportation
Must be willing to submit to background and drug check
Must have at least 5 years of technology display installation experience and training experience
1+ year experience of Interactive display installation, maintenance, complex retail display troubleshooting, advanced display assembly, fabrication, and/or basic field engineering
Strong English oral and written communication skills. Basic math and measurement understanding and skills
Owns or has access to various tools required to perform work on interactive displays to include low voltage trouble shooting tools, power tools, etc. and uses tools for install and maintenance of deliverables that will be required to complete required responsibilities
Experienced in reading, understanding, and following planograms, display assembly instructions and setting fixtures as defined by project planning maps
Applicant must pass installation knowledge assessment
Must be able to clearly write and speak English, bilingual a plus
Must be able to work both from home (in a quiet environment for phone calls) and work outside of home in stores or other venues across the US, primarily in local market
Physical Requirements:
Capable and willing to meet the physical demands to include but not limited to being able to safely climb up and down ladders, materials and tools; lift up to 50 pounds unassisted that could include materials that are 2-3 feet wide; work in tight and cramped spaces, be able to work from floor to ceiling, and remain active and on feet for up to six hours continuously
Capable and willing to safely pull and push pallets and boxes of retail fixtures that could be up to 500 lbs. over distances of 300 yards, and sometimes over uneven flooring surfaces
Able and willing to follow required PPE based on local laws and retailer requirements
