Job Title: Radiology Technician
Department/Group: Radiology

Location: Hyannis, MA

Job Responsibilities:
Prepares x-ray room
Reviews schedules to prepare for clinic
Insures clinic computers are up for the day
Retrieves patient charts and brings patients to either the x-ray room or an exam room
Performs radiography
Logs in all patients receiving x-rays
Returns digital images in a prompt manner
Responsible for maintaining all x-ray files and handles all requests for x-rays
Responsible for maintaining radiology equipment
Prepare all x-rays for patients when requested, files all x-rays, cleans equipment and oversees all x-ray functions
Provides excellent patient care
Interfaces with Meditech and Shields support as needed
Maintains electronic medical records as requested
Handles requests by telephone or other means as requested
Interacts with staff to insure excellent patient flow and care occurs during clinic hours
Provides flexibility in coordinating schedule with practice needs
Complete other duties as assigned under the supervision of providers and office management
Performs other work related duties as assigned or requestedQualifications:
Ability to read, write and communicate in English
Graduate of a JRCERT accredited Radiologic Technology Program
Registered by the ARRT (or registry eligible)
Licensed by the State of Massachusetts
ARRT registered within 1 year of hire
