The primary objective of the Table Games Dealer is to service our guests to the highest degree, making their visit to Silver Sevens Hotel & Casino the best casino experience. MUST BE ABLE TO DEAL CRAPS
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Deals live games with efficiency and professionalism while providing great guest service.
Exchanges paper currency for playing chips.
Ensures that wagers are placed after dice are thrown.
Announces dice totals and card outcomes to players.
Computes payable odds to pay winning bets.
Pays winning bets and collects losing bets.
Receives chips to table (fills), verifies amount and places chips on table
Security and protection of the game.
Must have thorough knowledge of game procedures and “House Rules” for all applicable games.
Must maintain a friendly and fun attitude with our guests to ensure they have an enjoyable gaming experience.
Maintain a steady, comfortable game speed while dealing.
Check identification for guests appearing to be under the age of 30 years old.
Promptly report any problems or irregularities to supervisors when on property.
Other related duties as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.
All Employees must be knowledgeable to all Company policies and procedures, including fire and safety regulations.
EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
Experience dealing games. At least three months experience on dice, blackjack games and all games dealt.
CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS
Nevada Gaming Control Board registration required.
LANGUAGE SKILLS
Must be able to effectively communicate in English.
MATHEMATICAL SKILLS
Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
MACHINERY USED
Card shuffling machine, card shoe, playing cards and game chips (applicable to individual games)
