Job Description
Must have valid Journeyman Card (any trade) or 8 verifiable years of industrial maintenance experience.
Position includes FREE monthly health care premiums for health, optical and dental.
Essential Functions
Be a safety leader with solid safety behaviors and demonstrated leadership. Working with others to perform against the plant site safety plan with the goal of being a zero injury workplace.
Responsible for the maintenance of equipment and throughout the facility consisting of but not limited to pumps, belt conveyors, scroll conveyors, chains, sprockets, fans, bearings
Responsible for welding, cutting, setting equipment and dismantling equipment
Responsible for using hand and power tools
Commitment to regular attendance
Inspect, repair, modify and install piping, pipe welding valves, system and process control components.
Review building plans and specifications to determine the layout and troubleshooting for piping systems, piping controls and related components
Identify required tools and special equipment
Locate and mark positions for connections, equipment, and system components
Install supports and hangers for pipe, components and equipment
Assemble and install valves and fittings
Test pipe systems and fixtures for leaks
Perform scheduled maintenance service on piping systems and control valves
Apply all codes to installations repairs and maintenance
Ensure all requirements as specified by the manufacturer of systems and fixtures are met
Ensure all installations, repairs and maintenance are properly sized, aligned, supported and graded.

Ability to read drawings and blueprints and interpret specifications
Ability to understand and apply industry standards for installation, repairs and safety
Familiarity with computerized IWMS/CMMS work order process
Adaptability to work in a diverse environment, focusing on customer satisfaction under high-stress conditions, and organize an effective response to day-to-day and one-of-a-kind extremes
