Position Overview:

This position will lead the technology and security risk and governance activities for the Enterprise Operations & Technology (EO+T) division. The successful candidate will collaborate with personnel in EO&T’s Operational Risk team as well as divisional business and risk team members to assess risk, design and implement appropriate controls, coordinate remediation efforts, and perform technology and security assurance activities!

The position will also work closely with counterparts and partners in: i) Enterprise Operations & Technology and other division; ii) Enterprise Risk Management (second lines of defense); and iii) Internal Audit (third line of defense).

Your Impact:

Responsible for the enterprise application portfolio registration tool, also known as Technology Portfolio Insight, that includes metadata maintenance and retirement of business and supporting systems.

Manage technology and security assurance processes against design standards including policies, directives, and non-functional requirements through regular reviews, gap assessments, and reporting on compliance.

Lead the Technology Sustainability program planning, tracking and metrics reporting. Support the development factory execution team to ensure that the annual budget is prioritized and delivered.

Lead the technology and security risk review of new and in use Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning technologies. Ensure that models are registered, risk assessed, and tracked in the APM tool.

Managed Technology and Information Security exceptions to established requirement and monitoring for remediation.

Representing EO+T on cross-divisional risk working groups and forums

Supervising a team of risk and control professionals through recruitment, training, coaching, performance management and related managerial activities

Qualifications:

10+ years of audit, control, compliance or operational risk experience in technology processes supporting financial services

5+ years of architecture and system design

Bachelor's degree in relevant field or equivalent experience

Excellent verbal and written communication skills with demonstrated experience in executive management communication

Ability to influence others and develop effective firm-wide relationships across all lines of defense

ISC2 CISSP, ISAAP, CCSP, CRISC and or CPA, CIA, CISA or other professional certification

Keys to Success in this Role:

Knowledge of secondary mortgage market and Freddie Mac’s business

Comfortable interacting with all levels of management and subject matter experts, able to build strong working relationships across multiple functions and collaborate effectively

This position has an annualized market-based salary range of $198,000 - $296,000 and is eligible to participate in the annual incentive program. The final salary offered will generally fall within this range and is dependent on various factors including but not limited to the responsibilities of the position, experience, skill set, internal pay equity and other relevant qualifications of the applicant.
