Job Summary:

As a Cashier at New York Pizza Pub, you will be the face of our restaurant, providing exceptional service to our valued customers. You'll be responsible for handling transactions, taking orders with a smile, and ensuring that every customer has a memorable dining experience.

Responsibilities:

Greet and assist customers in a friendly and welcoming manner.

Accurately process orders, payments, and issue receipts.

Maintain a clean and organized station.

Answer customer inquiries and provide menu information.

Uphold our commitment to outstanding customer service.

Cooking: Prepare and cook a wide range of menu items, including pizzas, pasta dishes, appetizers, and more, according to established recipes and quality standards.

Pizza Topping: Skillfully create and top pizzas with precision, ensuring the perfect balance of ingredients, and maintain consistency in presentation.

Food Safety: Adhere to food safety and sanitation guidelines to ensure the safety of our customers and compliance with health regulations.

Efficiency: Work efficiently in a high-volume kitchen, managing multiple orders simultaneously while maintaining the quality of food.

Team Collaboration: Collaborate with kitchen staff to coordinate food production and ensure smooth operations during peak hours.

Cleanliness: Maintain a clean and organized work area, including equipment and utensils, to uphold hygiene standards.

Quality Control: Monitor food quality throughout the cooking process and make adjustments as needed to deliver exceptional dishes consistently.

Qualifications:

Friendly and outgoing personality.

Excellent communication skills.

Strong attention to detail and accuracy.

Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Basic math skills.

Previous cashier or customer service experience is a plus.

Previous kitchen experience is a plus.
