Key Responsibilities:

* Application Development: Develop and deliver Android applications and features using Kotlin and the MVVM architecture design pattern.

* Library Management: Manage 3rd party open source libraries and their versioning using Gradle.

* Quality Assurance: Maintain the quality of the current codebase through unit testing and assist in regression testing.

* Troubleshooting: Facilitate the troubleshooting and resolution of pre- and post-production issues, including providing hotfixes when bugs are discovered.

* Documentation: Maintain technical documentation related to Android development.

* Version Control: Maintain the integrity of the current git flow in our repositories.

* UI/UX Collaboration: Assist and advise on UI/UX design improvements and the feasibility of new functionalities through the capabilities of current Android technology.

* Sprint Participation: Participate in Sprint meetings, including planning and review sessions.

* Research & Development: Keep abreast of the latest in mobile technology, conducting research and prototyping using such technologies.

Requirements:

* Technical Proficiency: Strong experience with Kotlin, MVC/MVVM architecture, unit testing, Android Studio, Layout Editor, programmatic UI, and Gradle.

* Version Control & Agile Methodology: Proficient in Git Flow, Agile development methodologies (e.g., SCRUM, Lean Start-up).

* Deployment Skills: Experience in handling Google Developer account, Google Play Store Console, and creating builds for submission to the Play Store.

* Analytical Skills: Excellent analytical skills with a good problem-solving attitude.

* Teamwork: Ability to perform well in a team environment.

* Additional Skills: Familiarity with CI/CD, Fastlane, Postman, basic AWS services, and using bundler for managing ruby gems will be an added advantage.

* Fundamental Understanding: Basic understanding of Big O notation and their respective time-space complexity.
