Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for an Assistant Professor of Mathematics at Vivekanandha College for Women. The Assistant Professor will be responsible for teaching mathematics subjects, conducting research, assisting in curriculum development, and providing academic support to students. The role involves delivering lectures, preparing lesson plans, grading assignments, and mentoring students in their academic pursuits.

Qualifications

Strong knowledge and expertise in Mathematics, Applied Mathematics, Physics, and Statistics

Experience in curriculum development and designing effective teaching materials

Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Ability to effectively engage and motivate students in the learning process

Good organizational and time management skills

Master's degree in Mathematics or related field (Ph.D. preferred)

Experience in research and publication in relevant academic journals
