For this role, our client is in search of an experienced Quality Analyst Engineer who will be responsible for formulating in-depth testing strategies and scenarios, implementing testing protocols for new and existing software, and overseeing the outcomes of the debugging phase. This position is for full-time employment during Eastern time from 9 AM to 5 PM.

The following Job-related experience is required for potential candidates for this role:

Must have at least a year of relevant work experience as a Quality Analyst Engineer or similar role.

Must have demonstrable experience in the realm of software development.

Must have an established background in software quality control.

Must have a profound understanding of QA methodologies, instruments, and procedures.

Must have proficiency in drafting articulate and detailed test strategies and scenarios.

Must have practical exposure to both structural and functional testing techniques.

Must have be familiar with contemporary automated testing platforms.

Must have comprehensive understanding of SQL and scripting languages.

Must have familiarity with the Agile/Scrum software development framework.

Must have a Bachelorâs or Masterâs degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.

Prior experience in performance or security testing would be advantageous.

Experience with Djangoâs testing framework and React Testing Library is highly desirable.

Familiarity with Selenium, CasperJS, and other web scraping and automation tools is a plus.

Your responsibilities will include but are not limited to the following:

Analyze technical documentation and provide constructive feedback in a timely manner.

Formulate in-depth and organized test strategies and test scenarios.

Allocate, schedule, and oversee testing tasks based on priority.

Craft and run automation tests using renowned open-source platforms.

Spot, log, comprehensively document, and monitor software defects.

Conduct exhaustive regression tests post bug fixes.

Formulate and implement testing protocols for both new and existing software, catering to client specifications.

Collaborate with internal stakeholders, such as developers and project leads, to comprehend system prerequisites.

Oversee and assess the outcomes of the debugging phase.

Delve into the root causes of software discrepancies and guide users on corrective measures.

Maintain a record of QA metrics, including defect rates and unresolved defect numbers.

Remain informed about the latest advancements in testing tools and methodologies.

Execute and automate various testing types including End to End, Regression, User Acceptance, API, and Load testing.

Successful candidates for this role will be rewarded with the following benefits:

A total of five paid vacation days per year (additional days can be taken unpaid).

A 5% raise per year guaranteed (additional raises or bonuses may be given for outstanding performance).

A paid 15-minute break for every 4 hours of work.

Vacation days increase by 1 vacation day per year. I.e. after one year of employment, the total paid vacation days on year 2 would be six, on year 3 seven, etc.
