CGI Generalist

WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR

A CGI generalist is responsible for creating high-quality 3D models, animations, and visual effects for various projects. They possess a deep understanding of all aspects of 3D pipeline, including modeling, texturing, lighting, animation, and rendering specific to product and Hardsurface.

RESPONSIBILTIES

• The primary duties will include 3d asset creation.

• Be the single point of contact for client and internal stakeholders for the account/vertical assigned.

• Will be taking up the responsibility of working as a part of the Team and Leading the team on multiple occasions.

• Should be highly efficient in handling projects and mentoring colleagues.

• Should be able to seamlessly work with Project managers / Production Co-Ordinator's to ensure timely delivery of projects.

• The Generalist artist will be working with the Team Leads closely and bringing in best practices in every aspect to maintain the quality and delivery timelines.

• Ability to receive and digest feedback in a constructive manner.

GREAT TO HAVE

• 6 + years of being a 3D Artist at a reputable studio.

• Proficient in any couple of software like Cinema 4D, Photoshop.

• Unreal and other 3D software will be a plus like etc.

• Efficient working knowledge as CG generalist to develop the asset up until look dev & hard surface models.

• Should be a team player and can collaborate with various other department within the company.

• Knowledge of Unreal Engine will be an added advantage.

• Extensive technical 3D supervision with eye for detail.

• Good in building client relationships overseas & local.

• Strong problem-solving skills – proactive and positive attitude to helping clients find solutions.

• Strategic approach to team building, growth, and management

• Ability mentor the team.

• Exceptional attention to detail

• Excellent communication skills and technical knowledge, work well within a team, and independently.

• Willingness to learn new techniques and develop new workflows.

• Come up with more efficient way of working out 3D with upcoming technology.

• Knowledge on the Unreal will be a great addon.

LOCATION

We currently work in a remote hybrid model with offices in Chennai work from office

TIMINGS

We work on rotational shifts that change depending on the region you are working with and at the discretion of your line manager.
