Job Description
The core scope of the role is scaling existing competencies and partnering with internal and external stakeholders to add capabilities, drive synergies and consistency that enable the larger organisational goal
Create a long term (multi year) plan to develop the roadmap of growth and capability building
Team leadership, skill development, resource management for team sizes 70 people
Setup Key Product Development & Testing Capabilities with focus on most used tests for long-term strategy of capabilities for NPD and SE
Formulate and implement strategic plans to help drive the overarching strategic plan and future direction of the organization
Provide direction to the team in complex or difficult situations, remove obstacles, assign appropriate resources and interface with other functions to assist with issue resolution.
Work cross-functionally in identifying and resolving technical issues.
Drives and evaluates project and department progress, technical development plans, and results.
The Successful Applicant
Bachelors degree in engineering or applicable technical field
M.S. or Ph.D. in Engineering or related field preferred
15+ years of embedded device design & development experience
5+ years of people management experience preferred.
Clinical Immersion and Product usage training with exposure to support competitive and marketing claims testing
Exposure of cross functional product development and sustenance efforts
