Job Overview

May I Help You is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Civil Designer to join our team. As a Civil Designer, you will be responsible for designing and creating civil engineering plans, drawings, and layouts. You will work closely with architects, engineers, and other team members to ensure that projects are accurately designed and meet all requirements. The ideal candidate should have a strong background in civil engineering and be proficient in using design software and tools.

Qualifications And Skills

Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a related field.

7-10 years of experience as a Civil Designer, preferably in a consulting or engineering firm.

Proficiency in using design software such as AutoCAD, Revit, and Civil 3D.

Strong knowledge of civil engineering principles, practices, and codes.

Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.

Ability to work effectively in a team environment and collaborate with other professionals.

Good communication and interpersonal skills.

Attention to detail and accuracy.

Roles And Responsibilities

Design and create civil engineering plans, drawings, and layouts.

Collaborate with architects, engineers, and other team members to ensure project requirements are met.

Perform calculations and analysis to determine the feasibility and efficiency of designs.

Prepare construction documents, including specifications, cost estimates, and project schedules.

Conduct site visits and inspections to assess project progress and identify any issues or risks.

Review and revise designs based on feedback from clients, architects, and engineers.

Stay updated with industry trends, standards, and regulations related to civil engineering design.

Communicate and coordinate with various stakeholders, such as clients, contractors, and regulatory agencies.

Provide technical guidance and support to junior designers and drafters.
