Job Overview:

The SCM Contract Specialist reports to the Director, Supply Chain Management-Global Contracts and is responsible for the administration, coordination, negotiation and management of Global Master Supply Agreements ('Global MSAs') and related documentation. This role assists in providing the organization with best practices in global contract negotiation for maximized purchasing power resulting in lower cost, high quality project procurement solutions.

Responsibilities

Key Tasks and Responsibilities:

Support the development of a consistent, standardized approach to the negotiation of SCM Global MSAs.

Represent the company in the negotiation and administration of Global MSAs.

Formulate and negotiate Global MSA amendments or modifications as needed.

Ensure that SCM Global MSAs, subcontracts, purchase orders, and amendments comply with McDermott's policies and guidelines.

Maximize the use of the company's related information systems and technology for tracking, analysis, reporting, administration and communication of Global MSA information.

Perform additional duties as assigned and participate in special projects as required.

Qualifications

Essential Qualifications and Education:

Minimum of 5 years' experience managing and negotiating T&Cs, preferably in the Oil & Gas business with EPC experience in the onshore and offshore space.

Must have a Bachelor's Degree and JD.

Fluent in Microsoft Office

Ability to multi-task with excellent organizational and time management skills.

Strong negotiating skills.

Ability to recognize & resolve conflict.
