Job Description:

Medline Industries has an opening for an experienced Application Architect with extensive experience in SAP. The role of the architect is to work with the business, functional, and technical teams to define, document, educate, implement, and support solutions to meet business objectives. He/she will work with business, functional, and technical teams throughout the design and implementation of objectives to ensure that the overall composition of the solution meets the goals of the Architecture team and its business sponsors.

Responsibilities:

Identifies the flexibility, speed of implementation, quality, scalability, supportability and cost of ownership of the solutions being implemented.

Becomes familiar with Medline's entire SAP landscape to help leverage and extend that landscape to meet business and technical objectives.

Keeps current on technology trends both in the industry as a whole and with the applications deployed in the Medline landscape, including researching and implementing new and/or alternate technologies that will further business goals and provide competitive advantages.

Helps to define standard methods and processes for system integration, ensuring adoption and use of those standards.

Creates detailed architectural specifications to document the architecture decisions; communicates the architectural specifications to designers, developers, contractors and business sponsors in a directly actionable, clear and unambiguous manner.

Collaborates with Enterprise Architect Team to review solution design, any new implementation or introduction of new technology to ensure compliance with Medline standards.

Provides technical leadership throughout the project life-cycle.

Work Experience & Skills:

Excellent interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills with the ability to communicate with internal team members as well as business stakeholders.

Minimum 5 years of experience working as a Senior or Lead SAP ABAP Developer, plus experience as an Application Architect on SAP application using ABAP, Integration experience.

Hands-on experience in designing end to end architecture for complex SAP projects for integration work.

Extensive knowledge of Application Performance Monitoring & Management tools. Hands-on NFR experience is a MUST for high performing SAP landscape and huge transaction volume.

Experience includes: multiple SAP products (ECC, S/4HANA, SCM, PI, BO, HANA, Fiori), n-tier application architectures, web application architectures, .Net or Java/J2EE, current industry design patterns (SOA, MicroServices) and standards (REST, ODATA).

Strong problem solving characteristics with the ability to think out of the box.

Enjoys working with others in a collaborative fashion and has excellent troubleshooting skills.

Educational Qualification

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related
