Role Description

Design and develop solar photovoltaic systems project deliverables in AutoCAD, including system components, for residential, commercial, and industrial projects.

Solar Modules Table-Array GA design for ground mount and roof top mount.

Shadow Analysis Report

Single-line and multi-line diagrams (SLD)

AC Cable Routing Layout design (Undergroud direct buries/trench or Above Ground)

AC and DC Cable Sizing calculation

DC Cable Stringing & Routing Layout

LT Panels, MIP Panels and Isolator box sizing and design

Earthing Layout

Module Cleaning System Layout

Complete Bill of Materials BOM/BOQ/BOS Comprehensive list of all materials required for the project

Prepare Site Assessment/Survey Report: Detailed analysis of the project site, including topography, site photography, solar irradiation data, and environmental impact.

Collaborate with sales and engineering teams to ensure optimal design solutions.

Manage project documentation, including preparing reports and maintaining records.

Understand Solar industries standards, codes, compliances - National Electrical Code (NEC) etc...

Knowledge of local goverment electrical authorieis for Solar Net Metering compliance.

Work with the latest solar design software to create precise and efficient solar energy systems.

Stay up-to-date with the latest solar technology advancements and industry regulations.

Qualifications

Electrical Design and Electrical Engineering skills

Knowledge of Electricity, Solar Power Distribution, and Solar Power Systems

Experience in analyzing client requirements and performing site surveys

Ability to analyze structural designs and choose appropriate equipment

Experience in solar panel construction and integration

Strong problem-solving and communication skills

Diploma in Electrical Engineering

Proficiency in PVsyst, AutoCAD, or similar solar design software.

Advance level knowledge computer knowledge like MS Office sotwares

Proficiency in english language is a plus

Experience in the solar energy industry is a plus
