Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a Consultant Physician / General Physician position located in New Delhi. The physician will be responsible for diagnosing and treating common health problems, providing health education and counseling.

Individual will be responsible for below mentioned activities:

Responsible to serve patients who may be located some distance from the hospital but require primary health care services.

Responsible to ensure clinical quality and safety throughout the network.

Prescribe medicine, diagnostic and other medical guidance as needed by patients.

Attends mandatory in house training programs to be certified Telemedicine General Physician. This may require individual to undergo web-based and other training programs. Be open to peer review and receiving feedback from on the job monitoring.

Serve actively and constructively as a member of the multi-disciplinary virtual medical care team, supporting the philosophy of care; to ensure the safety and well-being of every patient.

Provides clinical assessment, including the history of illness and other information. Document the pertinent information timely & accurately.

Clinical quality monitoring and evaluation followed by feedback and improvement sessions for clinicians in the network

Willing to travel to MB led clinics/OHCs for conducting trainings and audits for the medical staff.

Work closely with the medical director to uphold and maintain standards and protocols across the organization and work on projects related to it.

Qualifications

M.B.B.S from a recognized University or Institution

Experience in the use of electronic health records (EHR) and telemedicine platforms (preferred)

Strong Medicine and Primary Care skills

5+ yrs experience in Family Medicine

Able to communicate effectively in English through written and verbal means.Â

Regional language capability - Kannada or Malayalam or Marathi

Excellent clinical and problem-solving skills

Effective communication and interpersonal skills

Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment

Demonstrates respect and tolerance for all patients without any discrimination.

Assumes responsibility for professional development and ongoing education. Willing to learn and strictly follow clinical protocols.

Maintains a professional appearance and attitude.

Able to communicate effectively in English through written and verbal means.Â

Ability to exercise sound judgment in evaluation of situations and/or making clinical decisions.Â

Ability to remain calm in crisis situations and utilize approved response methods.

Aptitude to serve patient through technology.
