Role Description

Profile

a. Project Engineer with a knowledge of the Electrical and Automation system. The Project Engineer

is competent in this field in terms of:

i. Technical background in order to understand customer problems & requirements.

ii. Work in a team to support the project team lead to achieve the daily project task.

b. Strong and open competency to communicate with customers, automation technical lead engineer

and project manager.

i. Communication skills and ability to influence and convince.

ii. Internally to deal with engineering and project management departments.

iii. Externally to convince customers.

Main Activities

a. Part of the project kick-off meeting to understand the project requirements and our scope of work.

b. Understanding of the system architecture, bill of material and Functional Design Specification (FDS)

prepared by design engineer before software development.

c. PLC/ RTU/ HMI/ SCADA/ Reporting Software development as per project requirements.

d. Preparation of Integrated Factory Acceptance Test (IFAT) by hardware testing, material testing,

panel testing, networking, communication between PLC/ SCADA / 3rd party devices, functional

testing of approved system architecture.

e. Site Acceptance Test (SAT) and Commissioning activities.

f. Daily task execution planning report and Monthly project progress reporting to project manager.

g. After handing over, Project Work Report defining the plus / minuses of the project, challenges faced,

learnings, areas of improvement etc...

h. Taking project backup and handing over to central repository.

i. Work Completion Certificate from the customer required for future tender qualification.

j. Support marketing team to prepare the success story.

b. Background / Experience

i. Knowledge of the electrical distribution, automation offer and IT knowledge.

c. Qualifications

i. Engineering degree in either Electrical or Electronics & Telecommunication. Diploma in

Electrical / Electronics / Instrumentation / IT or BSc. in Electronics / Instrumentation / IT

can also apply.

ii. Minimum 6.5 GPA average of 4 years duration for degree holders and 3 years for diploma

or BSc holders.

iii. Language skills

a. Local language: perfect verbal, written

b. English: High Level verbal, written

iv. Communication skills to convince and influence all internal and external customers.
