Job Overview

We are seeking a Plant Safety Supervisor to join our team at DCS Group. As the Plant Safety Supervisor, you will be responsible for ensuring the safety and well-being of all employees at our plant located in Hyderabad, Telangana, India. This is a full-time position suitable for candidates with 1 to 3 years of experience.

Qualifications And Skills

Bachelor's degree in Occupational Health and Safety or a related field

Relevant certifications such as NEBOSH or OSHA

Proven experience in a similar role, preferably in a plant or manufacturing environment

Knowledge of local, state, and federal safety regulations and standards

Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Ability to effectively train and educate employees on safety protocols

Proficient in conducting safety inspections and risk assessments

Familiarity with emergency response procedures

Ability to analyze data and make informed decisions

Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite

Roles And Responsibilities

Develop and implement safety policies and procedures to ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations

Conduct regular safety inspections and risk assessments to identify potential hazards

Train employees on proper safety protocols, including the use of personal protective equipment

Investigate and report accidents, incidents, and near misses, and develop corrective actions to prevent recurrence

Maintain up-to-date knowledge of safety regulations and best practices

Collaborate with other departments to develop and implement safety improvement initiatives

Coordinate emergency response activities and drills

Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of safety programs and make recommendations for improvement
