Job Summary:

The Project Associate will contribute to the research and development of a Hybrid Separation Process for valuable recovery and water reuse in process industries. This position involves collaboration with a multidisciplinary team to design, optimize, and implement innovative solutions for wastewater treatment and resource recovery, utilizing water and energy pinch analysis.

Key Responsibilities:

Assist in the development and optimization of the Hybrid UF-FO/MD (Ultrafiltration-Forward Osmosis/Membrane Distillation) process.

Conduct laboratory experiments to validate the process efficiency in recovering valuables from industrial effluents.

Participate in the design and operational optimization of pilot-scale plants for demonstration purposes.

Collaborate with industrial partners for field data collection, analysis, and implementation of the developed processes.

Contribute to the development of a software tool for water and energy pinch analysis tailored for the refinery and metal industries.

Document research findings and contribute to the drafting of reports, research papers, and proposals for further funding.

Ensure compliance with project timelines, deliverables, and reporting requirements.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Chemical, mechanical Engineering, or a related field.

Experience in modeling, simulation, optimization, membrane technologies, wastewater treatment processes, or related areas is preferred.

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with proficiency in simulation software and tools relevant to process optimization.

Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively in a multidisciplinary team.

Commitment to sustainability and innovation in water and energy management.

Duration: The position is temporary, initially for a period of one year, with the possibility of extension based on project requirements and performance.Application Procedure:
