 This opportunity is for recent M.Tech, PhD graduates, and early-career professionals who are passionate to contribute to the growth of offshore floating wind energy and shape the future of clean energy production. Â

Experience: 0-10 years Â

Responsibilities

As an Offshore Wind Energy System Designer & Analyst, you will be responsible for the following: Â

Mechanical and Structural engineering, preferably for Off-shore structures emphasis on floating structures.

Structural analysis and structural integrity management (SIM) services for a range of fixed offshore structures including jackets, jack-ups, jetties, offshore wind turbines, and substations.

Ad-hoc structural analysis (e.g. jacket & topside models and modifications, pile/soil modelling, strength and fatigue analysis, pushover, ship impact, fire & blast, seismic assessment, FEA).

Perform structural analysis and simulations of Wind Turbine and blade design, with focus on reliability, lifetime cost, and aero-elastic designs of structures.

Stay informed about the latest advancements in offshore wind technology and contribute to research efforts to improve system performance and efficiency. Â

Qualifications

To be considered for the Offshore Wind Energy System Design & Analysis position, candidates should possess the following qualifications: Â

Education: A Ph.D. or M.Tech degree in Structural engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Oceanic and Naval Engineering, Oceanography, or a related field is required. Â

Experience: 0-10 years of relevant experience after graduation in the field of offshore wind energy or a closely related area is preferred. Â

Technical Proficiency: Proficiency in using software tools such as COMSOL, Bladed and Sesam, Ansys, OpenFOAM, MATLAB or specialized wind energy analysis software is highly desirable. Â

Knowledge: A deep understanding of offshore wind energy systems, including turbine technology, floater structure, wind resource assessment, and environmental impact assessment. Â
