Civil Drafter

Job Overview:

As an Architect/Civil Draftsman, you will play a crucial role in the design and development process of various architectural projects. Working closely with our team of architects and engineers, you will be responsible for creating detailed technical drawings, plans, and specifications that adhere to industry standards and regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

Develop detailed architectural and structural drawings using computer-aided design (CAD) software.

Collaborate with architects, engineers, and other professionals to translate conceptual designs into precise technical drawings.

Prepare architectural plans, elevations, sections, and construction details for residential, commercial, and institutional projects.

Ensure accuracy, completeness, and compliance of drawings with building codes, zoning regulations, and project specifications.

Incorporate design changes and revisions as directed by project managers and architects.

Assist in site surveys, measurements, and documentation as needed.

Coordinate with contractors, subcontractors, and vendors to clarify design intent and resolve construction-related issues.

Stay updated on industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies in architectural drafting and design.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree or diploma in Architecture, Civil Engineering, or related field.

3+ years of proven experience as an Architect/Civil Draftsman in an architectural firm or construction company.

Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, or other CAD software.

Strong understanding of architectural and construction principles, techniques, and materials.

Excellent attention to detail and ability to produce accurate and high-quality drawings.

Effective communication and teamwork skills.

Ability to work under pressure and meet project deadlines.

Knowledge of building codes, regulations, and standards.
