Job Overview
We are seeking a talented and experienced 2D CAD Designer to join our team. The role involves creating detailed technical drawings using computer-aided design (CAD) software. The ideal candidate should have 1 to 3 years of experience in 2D CAD design and a strong knowledge of drafting principles and industry standards. This is a full-time position based in Chennai, Tamil Nadu, India.
Qualifications And Skills
Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
1 to 3 years of experience in 2D CAD design.
Proficiency in CAD software such as AutoCAD or SolidWorks.
Solid understanding of drafting principles and industry standards.
Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications.
Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
Good communication and teamwork abilities.
Ability to manage time effectively and meet project deadlines.
Roles And Responsibilities
Create accurate and comprehensive 2D drawings using CAD software.
Collaborate with architects, engineers, and other professionals to understand project requirements.
Review and modify existing drawings as per client feedback or design changes.
Ensure drawings adhere to drafting standards and industry specifications.
Generate detailed bills of materials and specifications for production.
Conduct quality checks on drawings to identify and resolve any errors or inconsistencies.
Maintain a library of design templates and standard components for efficient design processes.
Stay updated on industry trends and advancements in CAD technology.
Communicate and coordinate effectively with team members and clients.
