Job Overview
We are looking for a Purchase Manager to join our team at GOOD FIVE YES JOB CONSULTANCY, a leading HR Consultancy providing IT/Non-IT job placement services in PAN India & Abroad. As a Purchase Manager, you will be responsible for managing the company's purchasing activities, ensuring optimal procurement and inventory management to support our operations. This is a full-time position based in Ambattur, Tamil Nadu, India.
Qualifications And Skills
Bachelor's degree in Electrical, Electronics, Instrumentaton related field
Expected skill: Electrical Maintenance, Material costing, Machining cost study, coating materials quality and rate, sheet metal, special purpose machine assembly parts, SPM Automation are knowledge preferred
Proven experience as a Purchase or Electrical Maintenance Manager or a similar role
Strong knowledge of procurement strategies and best practices
Excellent negotiation and communication skills
Ability to build and maintain relationships with suppliers
Proficient in using procurement software and tools
Good analytical and problem-solving abilities
Attention to detail and ability to multitask
Strong organizational and time management skills
Ability to work well in a team environment
Roles And Responsibilities
Develop and implement purchasing strategies to meet the company's procurement needs
Identify reliable suppliers, negotiate contracts, and manage vendor relationships
Monitor market trends and prices to ensure competitive procurement
Review and analyze purchase requisitions, specifications, and financial reports
Track and report key functional metrics to reduce expenses and improve effectiveness
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure timely delivery of materials
Manage inventory levels and ensure optimal stock levels for production and operations
Evaluate supplier performance and ensure compliance with quality and delivery standards
Prepare and present regular reports on purchasing activities and performance
Stay updated with industry trends and advancements in procurement practices
