About The Job Role

Gainsight is building a world-class team of Engineers with a mandate to architect, design, build, scale, and maintain our cutting-edge customer intelligence repository and to apply âpredictive analyticsâ techniques to mine the data and discover data patterns & drive insights. If you are a great Java developer (or for that matter in any major programming languages) with experience in building scalable SaaS web applications and looking for an opportunity in building world-class products using cutting edge technologies, please read on.

Qualifications

What We Are Looking For

Bachelor's degree or equivalent educational qualification.

5 to 7 years of industry experience

Experience in risk management and conducting third-party vendor risk assessments.

Knowledge of security frameworks (e.g., ISO 27001, NIST CSF, SOC2) and regulatory requirements (e.g., GDPR, HIPAA).

Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively communicate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Experience working in a SaaS environment or with cloud-based technologies is preferred.

Relevant certifications like CRISC are a plus.

Responsibilities

What Youâll Do Here

Conduct Comprehensive Risk Assessments:

Perform thorough risk assessments for applications/services to identify security vulnerabilities and threats.

Analyze and prioritize identified risks to inform decision-making and risk mitigation efforts.

Document assessment findings and communicate them effectively to relevant stakeholders.

Recommendation of security controls:

Suggest relevant security controls to mitigate identified security risks and enhance the overall security posture.

Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure the implementation of security controls and best practices.

Manage security exceptions

Collaborate with Cross-Functional Teams:

Work closely with cross-functional teams to integrate security best practices into product development and operational processes.

Provide guidance on security requirements and assist in the design and implementation of secure solutions.

Conduct Third-Party Vendor Risk Assessments:

Lead third-party vendor risk assessments for suppliers and vendors.

Evaluate the security posture of third-party vendors and recommend appropriate risk mitigation measures.

Develop and Maintain Policies and Guidelines:

Develop and maintain policies and guidelines relevant to risk management.

Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards.

Provide Expertise and Guidance:

Offer expertise and guidance to stakeholders on security-related matters, including risk assessment findings, security controls, and compliance requirements.

Communicate technical concepts effectively to non-technical stakeholders.

Stay Updated on Security Trends:

Stay informed about emerging security threats, vulnerabilities, and industry trends.

Provide recommendations for proactive security measures to mitigate potential risks.

Strong Analytical and Problem-Solving Skills:

Utilize strong analytical and problem-solving skills to assess security issues and recommend effective solutions.

SaaS and Cloud Experience:

Experience working in a SaaS environment or with cloud-based technologies is a plus.

Team Collaboration:

Work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
