Job Overview

We are looking for a skilled and experienced Structural Drafter for a leading Civil Construction Company in Kochi. As a Structural Drafter, you will be responsible for creating detailed technical drawings and plans for various construction projects. This is a mid-level position requiring 4 to 6 years of relevant experience. The job is based in Cochin, Kerala, India, and the employment type is full-time.

Qualifications And Skills

Minimum of 4-6 years of experience as a Structural Drafter

Proficiency in AutoCAD and other drafting software

Strong knowledge of structural engineering principles and concepts

Ability to interpret and understand construction and architectural drawings

Experience with piping and instrumentation drawings (P&ID) and mechanical drawings is a plus

Excellent attention to detail and accuracy

Strong problem-solving and analytical skills

Good communication and collaboration abilities

Ability to work effectively in a team environment

Roles And Responsibilities

Produce accurate and detailed structural drawings based on specifications and requirements

Create construction drawings, architectural drawings, and engineering drawings

Collaborate with architects, engineers, and contractors to ensure accurate representation of the design

Review and revise drawings as necessary to incorporate changes and updates

Ensure compliance with relevant codes, standards, and regulations

Prepare and maintain documentation related to drawings and plans

Coordinate with other drafters and team members to meet project deadlines

Stay updated with industry trends and advancements in structural drafting technologies
