Role: ETL Tester

Employment Term: Full-time

Location : Work form office- Hyderabad

The QA is responsible for

Design and Develop Test Cases:

Participate in requirements meetings to gather input for test planning.

Create testing strategies, test plans, and test cases based on business rules and data mapping documents.

Design test cases that cover various scenarios related to data extraction, transformation, and loading.

Data Validation and Transformation:

Validate data sources and ensure accurate extraction.

Apply transformation logic to data during the ETL process.

Verify that data is loaded correctly into target tables.

Execute test cases to validate data extraction, transformation, and loading processes.

SQL Scripting and Data Queries:

Write SQL scripts to extract and manipulate data for testing.

Run queries in the database to validate results against expectations.

Troubleshoot and analyze erroneous results.

Technical skills and tools Needed.

Strong data analytical skills.

Proficiency in SQL and database query languages.

Writing testing scripts using SQL joins

Knowledge of ETL tools (e.g., SSIS) and RDBMS (MS SQL Server).
