Designation: Manager - Factory HR

Location: Thrissur

Salary: Rs. 7 LPA to Rs. 9 LPA

Preferred from Manufacturing with exposure in dealing Union / Migrant Labours

Responsibilities

HR & Admin Operations:

Independently handle HR and Admin issues for multiple units, ensuring compliance with company policies and relevant laws.

Oversee the end-to-end HR activities throughout the employee life cycle, from recruitment to retirement.

Migrant Workforce Management:

Source and manage migrant workforce, including welfare activities and compliance with relevant regulations.

Implement practices to enhance the well-being and integration of migrant employees.

Project Leadership:

Lead and manage HR projects and initiatives, such as reorganizations and cultural integration programs.

Drive and support Learning and Development and Employee Engagement activities.

Payroll Management:

Oversee the payroll process for both staff and workmen, ensuring accuracy and compliance.

Handle all aspects of payroll, including statutory deductions, taxes, and benefits.

Statutory Compliance:

Maintain awareness and ensure compliance with statutory registers, licenses, returns, ESI, EPF, LWF, PT, FSSAI, etc.

Handle disciplinary action processes and procedures in accordance with legal requirements.

Manpower Handling and Cost Control:

Manage manpower effectively, ensuring optimal staffing levels.

Accountable for cost control activities, including labor cost, administration, recruitment cost, and welfare.

Employee Relations:

Settle grievances for all employees promptly and fairly.

Maintain good Industrial Relations conditions within the unit.

Performance Management:

Responsible for performance appraisal and annual increment processes for workmen.

Implement best practices in Performance Management.

MIS and Reporting:

Generate and maintain HR and Admin-related MIS and reports for the unit.

Provide regular updates to senior management on key HR metrics and initiatives.

Best Practices Implementation:

Lead the implementation of best practices in the unit, such as 5S, TQM, TPM, etc.

Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance operational efficiency.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in human resources, Business Administration, or a related field. Master's degree or HR certification is a plus.

Strong knowledge of statutory compliance, labor laws, and HR best practices.

Experience in managing and integrating migrant workforce.

Expertise in payroll processes and cost control activities.

Ability to maintain good Industrial Relations conditions.

Proficient in MS Office and HRIS systems
