Qualifications & Experience

Bachelor's or Master's degree in electrical engineering, renewable energy, or a related. Specialized certification in solar energy or photovoltaic systems is advantageous.

Minimum of 5-7 years of experience in solar engineering, project management, or related roles.

Proficiency in solar design software and simulation tools.

Strong knowledge of solar photovoltaic technologies, components, and installation practices.

Familiarity with relevant codes, regulations, and standards in the solar energy industry.

Experience in managing solar projects from design through implementation.

Solid understanding of electrical systems, grid integration, and energy storage.

Excellent communication and leadership skills.

Role Requirements

Lead and oversee the planning, design, and execution of solar energy projects.

Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop optimal solar energy solutions.

Conduct feasibility studies and site assessments for potential solar projects.

Design solar photovoltaic systems, considering technical, economic, and environmental factors.

Ensure compliance with safety, quality, and regulatory standards in solar installations.

Manage project budgets, timelines, and resources to achieve successful outcomes.

Provide technical expertise and guidance to junior engineers and project teams.

Coordinate with suppliers, contractors, and stakeholders to ensure project progress.

Evaluate and select appropriate solar components and equipment for installations.

Utilize solar design software and tools to model system performance and energy production.

Prepare engineering drawings, specifications, and documentation for solar projects.

Monitor and analyze the performance of installed solar systems and recommend improvements.

Stay updated with industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in solar engineering.

Conduct site visits and inspections to assess project progress and quality of work.

Work closely with clients to understand their solar energy requirements and deliver tailored solutions.

Collaborate with regulatory bodies to obtain necessary permits and approvals.

Participate in business development activities by providing technical insights and proposals.

Ensure effective communication between project teams and stakeholders.

Keep accurate records, reports, and documentation for solar projects.

Provide input for continuous process improvement and innovation in solar engineering.

Support the organization's sustainability goals by delivering efficient and reliable solar solutions.

Adapt strategies and approaches based on project-specific needs and industry advancements.
