QA Tester

Our Client is looking for a high-performing QA Tester with a bachelor's degree or equivalent and a minimum of 2 years of proven experience as a Quality Assurance Tester or similar role. They are someone who can succeed as a 'QA Tester' because of their strong problem-solving skills.

They are someone who is currently living in Mumbai and can start immediately or have a notice period of fewer than 30 days and are willing to work from the office.

Job Responsibilities

Review and analyse system specifications

Collaborate with QA Engineers to develop effective strategies and test plans

Execute test cases (manual or automated) and analyse results

Evaluate product code according to specifications

Create logs to document testing phases and defects

Report bugs and errors to development teams

Help troubleshoot issues

Conduct post-release/ post-implementation testing

Work with cross-functional teams to ensure quality throughout the software development lifecycle

Designing test plans, scenarios, scripts, and procedures.

Executing tests on source code.

Analysing test results and reporting to the development team.

Working with the development team to correct bugs and errors.

Ensuring that the products, applications, and systems work correctly.

Mandatory Requirements

2 - 5 years of proven experience as a Quality Assurance Tester or a similar role

Experience in project management and QA methodology

Experience in mobile and web Manual testing

Familiarity with Agile frameworks

Ability to document and troubleshoot errors

Good technical knowledge to Produce quality code, raising the bar for the whole team on quality and speed

Preferred Requirements

Working knowledge of test management software (e.g., qTest, Zephyr) and SQL

Working knowledge of test management software, programming languages, and QA methodologies.

Experience in mobile and web Automation testing

Experience in regression testing

E-commerce domain knowledge

Prior experience working in a startup
