Job Overview

Seeking a Project Management Officer (PMO) with a strong computer science background and previous development experience to act as the liaison between the CTO and technical teams. This role is crucial for ensuring that all technical projects align with organizational goals and are executed efficiently.

Key Responsibilities

Strategic Assistance: Act as the primary point of contact between the CTO and technical teams, ensuring seamless communication and project alignment with organizational objectives.

Technical Project Oversight: Manage and oversee software development projects from conception to deployment, ensuring they align with the company's strategic goals.

Liaise Between CTO and Technical Teams: Serve as the primary point of contact between the CTO and software engineering teams, translating technical details and project requirements effectively.

Administrative Support: Handle the CTO's administrative workload, including scheduling meetings, preparing reports, and maintaining project documentation, to allow the CTO to focus on strategic initiatives.

Stakeholder Engagement: Collaborate with stakeholders across the organization to identify and leverage opportunities for technological advancements and innovation. Enhance Team Collaboration: Foster a collaborative environment between the technical teams and other departments to ensure project success.

Technology and Process Improvement: Stay abreast of the latest technology trends and software development practices to suggest improvements and efficiencies within the technical teams.

Quality Assurance and Standards: Ensure that all software development projects meet quality standards and are delivered on time and within budget.

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field.

Project Management certification (e.g., PMP, Prince2, Scrum).

Proven experience as a developer with a strong understanding of software development processes.

Experience in managing technical projects and acting as a liaison between technical teams and senior management.

Experience working in a fast-paced, technology-driven organization.
