Title: Cyber Security Analyst Trainer

Location: Remote - EST/PST time Zone

Job Description:

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Cyber Security Analyst Trainer to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in cyber security analysis and a proven ability to effectively train individuals in the latest technologies and tools in the field. As a Cyber Security Analyst Trainer, you will be responsible for developing and delivering comprehensive training programs that cover a range of topics including but not limited to threat detection, incident response, vulnerability assessment, and security tool utilization.

Key Responsibilities:

Develop and deliver training modules on cyber security analysis methodologies, techniques, and best practices.

Instruct candidates on the operation and utilization of industry-standard tools such as Rapid7, Splunk, Wireshark, etc.

Provide hands-on training exercises and simulations to reinforce learning objectives.

Stay abreast of the latest developments and trends in cyber security to continuously update training materials and curriculum.

Assess candidate progress and provide constructive feedback to support their learning and development.

Collaborate with other trainers and subject matter experts to ensure training programs meet the needs of our candidates and align with industry standards.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field. Advanced degree preferred.

Minimum of 5 years of experience working in cyber security analysis roles.

Strong proficiency in utilizing tools such as Rapid7, Splunk, and other industry-standard security platforms.

Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to effectively convey complex technical concepts to diverse audiences.

Demonstrated experience in developing and delivering training programs, workshops, or courses.

Relevant certifications such as CISSP, CEH, or equivalent are highly desirable.

Experience working with US citizen Caucasian candidates, with the ability to communicate clearly and address any questions or concerns.

Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience with cloud security concepts and technologies (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP).

Familiarity with regulatory compliance frameworks such as HIPAA, GDPR, or PCI DSS.

Prior experience in conducting threat assessments and risk analysis.

Knowledge of scripting languages such as Python or PowerShell.

Note: Candidates must have a strong experience in teaching US citizen Caucasian candidates and possess the ability to communicate effectively to clear doubts and provide guidance throughout the training process.
