ATMS System Engineer

Role Description

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Resident Site Engineer to join our team for Advance Traffic Management System (ATMS) projects. The Resident Site Engineer will be responsible for the installation, commissioning, and maintenance of ATMS components at project sites. This role requires technical expertise, strong problem-solving skills, and the ability to work effectively in a dynamic environment.

Responsibilities:

1. Conduct site surveys and assessments to determine the requirements for ATMS installation.

2. Install, configure, and integrate ATMS hardware and software components according to project specifications.

3. Perform system testing and commissioning to ensure proper functionality and performance.

4. Provide training and technical support to project teams and end-users.

5. Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to ATMS components during installation and operation.

6. Monitor system performance and conduct regular maintenance activities to ensure optimal operation.

7. Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to ensure project milestones are met and deliverables are completed on time and within budget.

8. Maintain accurate documentation of installation, configuration, and maintenance activities.

Requirements / Qualification:

1. Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, or a related field.

2. Proven experience in the installation, commissioning, and maintenance of traffic management systems or related technology projects.

3. Strong technical knowledge of ATMS components, including traffic signal controllers, CCTV cameras, variable message signs, and communication networks.

4. Familiarity with relevant industry standards and regulations for traffic management systems.

5. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively communicate technical information to non-technical stakeholders.

6. Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently with minimal supervision.

7. Willingness to travel to project sites as required.
