About Walmart Team

Our team collaborates with Walmart International, which has over 5,900 retail units operating outside of the United States under 55 banners in 26 countries including South Africa, Argentina, Canada, Central America, Chile, China, India, Japan, and Mexico, to name a few.

The International Massmart team is responsible for managing and consolidating data from different sources into the Enterprise. Intl Massmart BI team ensure compliance with data regulations and governance and use appropriate SAP tools to perform Business analytics.

This role involves handling operational incidents within the defined Service Level Agreement (SLA) for all International Massmart and integrated application solutions.

What you'll do:

Support and maintain SAP BODS systems as per the requirements.

Should have strong skills in SAP BODS, SQL.

Being hands-on in analyzing, coding, and recommending solutions to the stakeholders on how to best leverage the platform.

You will have day-to-day responsibility for support and enhancement of complex technical objects in BW system

Good knowledge in application support knowledge Incident management, problem management, Defect tracking, change management, Reports, SLAs

Flexibility - Be part of a team that manages applications/systems 24x7 on rotation basis to ensure best experience to customers and work in the assigned shift timings

Manage all production system and recommend ways to optimize performance and provide solution to problems, prepare reports for all problems and automate the frequent issues.

Application support process/service management knowledge Incident management, problem management, Defect tracking, change management, Reports, SLAs

Troubleshoot complex technical issues and provide RCA

Coordinate across teams and resolve all complex application and system issues ranging in complexity (Low to Critical)

Education/Qualification

Any Graduate/PG Bachelor's Computer Science or related streams with relevant years' experience in Industry

What You'll Bring

2 to 3 years of experience in SAP BODS, SQL in support and development projects

Experience in SAP BODS designing ETL batch jobs, data profiling, data cleansing, data aggregation, data transformation, exporting and importing ATL files, job tuning and deployment.

Experience in managing data across heterogeneous paltforms and multiple data sources

Very good at performance improvement and SAP data load tuning. Should be able to trouble shoot complex data extraction issues.

Experience in Production Support Skills including Data loads, Reporting, Performance Issues, and Data Compression Activities.

Good to have SAP BW skills as well.

Exposure to S/4 HANA, CDS Views, ODATA Services.

Excellent verbal and written communications skills
