About the Sales Intern
The Sales Intern is responsible for supporting the efforts of the New Logo Sales and Account Management Teams and will report to the VP of Sales. The Sales Intern will utilize online research tools (i.e. LinkedIn Sales Navigator and 6Sense) and will work closely with members of the Sales Team to learn about how BrandMuscle goes to market. The Sales Intern is ideally interested in pursuing a career in sales or account management and will be able to get a taste of life at BrandMuscle as a salesperson.
The chosen candidate must possess an impeccable work ethic and a high level of energy, flexibility, curiosity, and creativity. The role also requires strong self-direction, teamwork, and personal accountability.
Responsibilities
Develop an in-depth understanding of types of information needed to maximize outreach efforts related to BrandMuscle ideal target companies
Participate in BrandMuscle Sales Meetings and Sales Muscle sessions when applicable
Shadow New Logo Sales and Account Management Teams learn about BrandMuscle and the sales process
Learn to engage prospects by phone and email to generate interest in BrandMuscle’s products and services
Learn to identify and develop new business opportunities by prospecting and securing appointments with qualified decision-makers in a B2B environment
Work with the sales team to stay up to date on industry trends and developments
Requirements
Degree in progress in business, marketing, advertising, or a related field required
Experience with Microsoft Office applications (Experience with Salesforce preferred)
Strong analytical, multitasking, problem solving, and detail orientation skills
Strong self-motivation and a sense of urgency to learn and succeed
Exceptional interpersonal, teamwork, and collaboration skills
Exceptional written and oral communication skills
