Job Overview

As a Senior Design Engineer, you will be responsible for designing and developing innovative mechanisation solutions to improve conventional farming practices. You will play a crucial role in creating economic farming solutions for micro-farms, with a focus on solving problems related to non-availability of farm labour, low profits, and labour drudgery. This is a full-time position with the requirement of 1 to 3 years of experience. The job location is Medchal, Telangana, India.

Qualifications And Skills

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field

1 to 3 years of experience in product design and development

Proficiency in CAD software, such as SolidWorks or AutoCAD

Strong knowledge of engineering principles and practices

Experience with engineering calculations and simulations

Familiarity with manufacturing processes and material selection

Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills

Effective communication and collaboration skills

Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Attention to detail and commitment to delivering high-quality designs

Roles And Responsibilities

Designing and developing mechanisation solutions to improve conventional farming practices

Participating in brainstorming sessions and collaborating with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and define design objectives

Creating and modifying 3D models, prototypes, and designs using CAD software

Conducting testing and analysis to validate product performance and ensure compliance with safety standards

Mentoring and providing guidance to junior design engineers

Assisting in the preparation of technical documentation, including specifications, drawings, and manuals
