Jordan Esports Federation (JEF) is the main governing body of Esports in Jordan.It promotes and regulates Esports, educates on Esports' importance, and nurtures local talent, aiming to elevate Jordanian gamers on the global stage.

About the Role

We are seeking a driven talented Esports specialist to join our team.

As a Marketing and Events Specialist you will be responsible for shaping the online presence and event experiences for our esports federation. You'll be a social media maestro, crafting engaging content and fostering an enthusiastic online community. You'll collaborate with the events team to bring electrifying tournaments and competitions to life, ensuring seamless execution from start to finish.

Responsibilities

Take ownership of the federation's social media channels, including content creation, scheduling, and engagement to drive community growth and interaction.

Collaborate with the events team to plan and execute federation tournaments, competitions, and other esports events.

Develop engaging and creative content for social media platforms, including posts, graphics, videos, and other multimedia formats, aligned with the federation's brand and messaging.

Monitor social media channels, interact with followers, respond to inquiries and comments, and foster a positive and interactive online community.

Assist in the development and execution of marketing campaigns and strategies to increase brand awareness, drive audience engagement, and support federation objectives.

Work closely with internal teams, including operations, players management, and partnerships, to align social media efforts with overall federation goals and initiatives.

Work closely with sponsors and partners to activate their sponsorship agreements, fulfill contractual obligations, and maximize brand exposure and engagement opportunities during federation events.

Provide on site support during events, overseeing setup, registration, and operations, as well as addressing any issues or concerns that may arise to ensure a successful and enjoyable event experience.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in marketing, communications, or a related field.

Proven experience in social media management, content creation and event management, preferably in the esports, gaming, or sports industry.

Strong understanding of social media platforms, trends, and best practices, with a focus on engagement and community building.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to craft compelling content and interact effectively with diverse audiences.

Creative mindset with the ability to generate innovative ideas and content concepts.

Ability to multitask, prioritize, and work effectively in a fast paced, deadline driven environment.

Passion for esports and a deep understanding of the gaming community and culture.
