Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Organisational Psychology, Employment Law, Business Administration, or related fields.
Minimum of 5 years in an HR Generalist or Business Partner role, with global professional services/financial services industry experience preferred.
Comprehensive knowledge of employment legislation and HR best practices, particularly within South Africa.
Exceptional analytical, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Demonstrated project management expertise.
Proficiency in HRIS and Microsoft Office.
Responsibilities
HR Leadership: Work with the HR Team to develop HR plans that support business objectives, utilising analytics to inform decisions.
Talent Management: Support talent acquisition, development, and retention strategies.
Implement recruitment and development programs to foster a high-performance culture that attracts and retains critical talent.
Performance Management: Oversee a performance appraisal system that encourages high performance.
Manage complex employee relations and conflict resolution.
HR Operations: Administer HR operations across the employee lifecycle, optimising processes for efficiency.
Change Management: Direct change initiatives, ensuring effective stakeholder communication and engagement.
Policy Ownership: Review HR policies to reflect best practices and compliance with legal standards.
Data Analysis & Reporting: Analyse HR data for insights and decision-making.
Report on HR metrics, highlighting success and areas for growth.
Commercial Acumen: Align HR initiatives with business strategies for growth.
Statutory Compliance: Manage HR compliance with South African legal requirements, possessing solid experience in labour relations and employment standards.
Process Improvement: Ensure clear, impactful HR processes across the board, including recruitment, training and development, and business partnering.
Regularly review and enhance HR elements to improve efficiency and effectiveness.
