As the Technical Project Manager for the Prime system at RAKBANK, you will lead the coordination and execution of both internal and vendor-related projects to meet regulatory requirements, resolve customer issues and enhance customer experience.

Responsibilities

Project Planning and Execution: - Develop comprehensive project plans, timelines, and budgets for both internal and vendor-related projects. - Coordinate with internal stakeholders and external vendors to define project scope, objectives, deliverables, and resource requirements. - Monitor project progress, identify potential risks, and implement effective mitigation strategies to ensure timely and within-budget delivery.Vendor Collaboration: - Establish and maintain strong relationships with external vendors, serving as the primary liaison for project-related communications and coordination. - Collaborate with vendors to define project milestones, ensuring alignment with business objectives. - Facilitate regular meetings and status updates with vendors to track progress, address issues, and drive resolution of technical challenges.Internal Team Management: - Lead and motivate internal project teams assigned on the project. - Ensure clear communication of project goals, roles, and responsibilities among team members, fostering a collaborative and productive work environment. - Provide guidance and support to internal teams, ensuring alignment with project objectives, technical standards, and best practices.Technical Expertise: - Possess a deep understanding of Prime system, payment processing technologies, and vendor integrations. - Provide technical leadership and guidance to internal teams and vendors, ensuring alignment with industry standards and regulatory requirements. - Collaborate with technical architects and vendors to design and implement scalable, efficient, and secure solutions for system enhancements. - Coordinate with internal teams and vendor to plan and execute release activities, manage dependencies, and minimize disruption to business operations. Stakeholder Management: - Cultivate strong relationships with internal stakeholders, including business units, IT teams, and senior management, to ensure alignment of project objectives with business goals. - Communicate project status, risks, and dependencies to stakeholders, both internally and externally, through regular meetings, reports, and presentations. - Address stakeholder concerns and prioritize requirements to ensure customer satisfaction and project success.Quality Assurance and Testing: - Coordinate user acceptance testing (UAT) activities with internal teams and vendors, gathering feedback and facilitating resolution of issues or defects identified during testing.Change Management: - Manage change requests and assess their impact on project scope, schedule, and vendor commitments.Documentation and Reporting: - Maintain accurate project documentation, including requirements, technical specifications, test plans, etc.. - Generate regular project status reports and keep the project management system up to date regularly.

Qualifications

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field. Master's degree or relevant certifications (e.g., PMP, PMI-ACP) preferred.- Proven experience (10+ years) as a technical project manager in the banking or financial services industry.- Strong understanding of card management systems, payment processing technologies, and vendor integration strategies.- Proficiency in project management methodologies (e.g., Agile, Waterfall) and project management tools (e.g., JIRA, MS Project).- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with internal teams and external vendors.- Analytical mindset with the ability to solve complex problems, make data-driven decisions, and prioritize tasks based on business impact.
