Experienced 3PL Recruiter

DC Logistics, a Third-Party Logistics (3PL) business based in the Inland Empire and focused on Less-than-Truckload (“LTL”), warehousing, and inventory management. DC Logistics (“DC”) is looking for an exceptional person to lead our Talent Acquistion process. The ideal candidate will have full cycle recruiting experience, from talent sourcing and attracting candidates to interviewing through onboarding great employees. Ultimately, the responsibilities of the Recruiter are to ensure our company attracts, hires and retains the best employees, while growing a strong talent pipeline.

Hybrid Schedule: Remote on

Salary Range: $60k to $100K - based on experience and location.

Experience level: 2 years + preferred.

Responsibilities:

Partner with hiring managers in all locations to establish recruiting strategy for each position.

Interview and screen applicants for employment and process applications. Create a recruiting and interviewing plan for each assigned position.

Partner with HR Manager to define position requirements and establish recruiting strategy.

Administer the recruiting process for assigned openings. This includes verifying or obtaining approvals, determining an effective advertising strategy, mining for talent, interviewing and assessing candidates, consulting with leaders in the selection of top candidates, conducting reference and background checks, entering new hire paperwork and on-boarding new talent.

Consult with leaders and provide guidance in the selection and hiring process to ensure legal compliance.

Hands-on experience with recruiting software, as well as Human Resource Information Systems (HRIS) or Human Resource Management Systems (HRMS)

Knowledge of principles and procedures for personnel recruitment, selection, training, compensation and benefits, labor relations and negotiation, and personnel information systems.

Develop effective working relationships management to identify employment needs and provide consulting advice on recruiting issues and trends.

Measure and assess recruiting outcomes. Determine and implement process improvements.

Perform other job-related duties and special projects as required.

Desired Skills:

Work experience in logistics or warehouse industry recruiting and especially sourcing commercial drivers

Bachelor's degree in human resources or equivalent a plus

2+ years of Human Resources experience

Proficiency in MS Office suite

Bi-lingual in English/Spanish a plus but not required.

Experience working with ADP-Workforce Now a plus
