Job Description

Overview of Position and Sample Projects:

As a Web Developer Intern, you'll have the opportunity to gain hands-on experience in developing and maintaining web-based applications. You'll work closely with our team of experienced developers to contribute to various projects, learning modern web development technologies and best practices along the way. This internship offers a dynamic environment where you'll have the chance to apply your coding skills, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and tackle real-world challenges. Key responsibilities include frontend and backend development, testing and debugging, and collaboration with team members. You will report to the Director, Web Development. The position can be based in Fairfax, VA or Remote (USA). The pay is $20/hr.

Qualifications:

Education:

Currently enrolled in 4-year college or university with focus in Information Technology.

Experience Level:

Entry

Technical Skills:

HTML/CSS/JavaScript

Responsive Design

Testing and Debugging

Web Performance Optimization and Cross-Browser Compatibility

Code refactoring

Familiarity with MS Office Suite

Other skills:

Strong problem-solving skills
