Team Overview
The digital marketing team within AB’s Client Group is looking for an experienced Digital Marketing Analytics professional to support ongoing digital marketing activities. This role will provide valuable analysis and insight to better leverage AB’s digital capabilities, and to quantify the impact of AB’s digital marketing strategies. Based within the digital team, this role will support digital program owners, channel marketers, and investment writers across various activities including content marketing, email campaigns, digital advertising and social media. This individual will help develop key measurement strategies and governance to ensure consistency in reporting and analysis across digital touch points.
Job Description
Specific responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Experience working in collaborative environments requiring communication and feedback from multiple partners and stakeholders. Including: Business Sponsors, Marketing, Front-End Development, Back-End Development, QA, Production, Content, Strategy and Design
Work closely with business stakeholders, marketing and digital teams to support digital initiatives and campaigns by:
Understanding and formulating the business questions data analyses will answer
Translating business requirements into data analyst requirements
Leading and providing appropriate analysis and actionable insights
Be responsible for analytics reporting and insight in accordance with core KPIs, developing and delivering a range of reporting capabilities to highlight the effectiveness of marketing activities
Define and deliver appropriate analytics implementation for new initiatives, campaigns, pages and websites, developing business and reporting requirements as necessary
Develop and deliver regular reporting covering areas such as web traffic, content engagement, advertising & paid search, social media traffic & engagement, email marketing, lead generation & marketing automation
Perform AB’s analytics implementation, ensuring new requirements are implemented in accordance with current standards and are tested, identifying issues and remedying as appropriate
Required Skills
Bachelor’s degree and/or 5-7 years of experience in digital measurement and analytics
Proven track record of delivering appropriate reporting and analysis in a B2B and/or B2C environment, leveraging relevant technical solutions
Demonstrable experience of using analytics platforms such as Google Analytics or Adobe Analytics to collect, organize and deliver relevant analytics reports and actionable insight.
Hands-on experience in analytics tagging (Adobe Launch or Google Tag Manager) and good understanding of JavaScript to optimize site tagging.
Experience in analyzing A/B or multivariant testing and personalization initiatives to measure the success of such activities by documenting results, learnings and recommendations.
Familiarity with marketing automation and lead scoring analysis using platforms such as Salesforce Marketing Cloud, Pardot, Marketo etc.
Self-motivated and disciplined with the ability to define and achieve objectives with limited oversight if needed.
Hands-on Experience in Reporting tool like PowerBI and Tableau is preferred.
Understand SQL and can do some code in Python.
Strong communication skills, particularly when articulating findings in meaningful, clear ways to business and marketing stakeholders with an emphasis on actionable insight
Experience in Financial Services, specifically Asset Management is preferred.
